The King of shooting beers shoots the King of Beers.

Bud came knocking yet again, and we were already posted up at the bar, bottle caps hitting wood before they finished the ask.

Neon buzzing, stools worn smooth, the kind of place where the jukebox still matters and the smoke lives in the walls.

Yeah, we staged it—every pour, every flicker of light off the glass, every bead of sweat on the longnecks—but it felt like the night just rolled in and brought the stories with it.

Eyes low, laughs loud, everything rough around the edges in the best way.

Budweiser wanted a few pints with friends—but we gave them the after-hours version, no chaser.
